Potato peeler removes the skin from potatoes and other vegetables. Clean potatoes and other vegetables are poured into the drum of the potato peeler from the top. The interior of the drum has been coated with abrasive carborundum, as the drum rotates, the potatoes hit the wall and the skin is scraped off. This process requires a small amount of water to wash the walls. The peeled potatoes are then retrieved from the side of the Potato peeler through a gate.
